Flags at half-staff for the next four years?

As the end of Joe Biden’s term is approaching, I suggest we have a national day of mourning for the end of democracy as we know it.

A dictator has been voted in. A guy who tried to overthrow the government four years ago. A guy who led an attack on the nation’s Capitol. A day that will live in infamy.

I view the future with trepidation. What will become of the nation? If he even leaves after his term?

Will we be under the thumb of a guy who has no respect for traditions. Will the boot of the fascist be on our necks? Will we see families torn apart in an effort to blame others for his evil deeds? Will we see the Constitution rewritten?

Perhaps instead of a day of mourning, the flags should be at half-staff for the next four years?
